On Tuesday, Calvin and I figured out the bus system in San Diego (with the help of a very nice driver).
We were very relieved to finally be on the right bus (well, I was at least).
Then Calvin fell asleep so I got to wander through a rose garden while he napped.
He woke up ready for some fun.
He insisted on looking at the map to try to show me where to go.
We headed to the model train museum.
There were so many trains to watch.
And quite a few Thomas the Train stations throughout to keep little hands busy.
There were so many great displays to looks at.
And more Thomas to play with.
And he was able to make this Thomas go with the push of a button.
And it had a great play room at the end.
It even had crafts!
Then we met Uncle Cris at the Science Center.
Talk about a place with a LOT to do!
He loved this one because it had little balls to roll around.
And this one in the kids area because it had tons of balls to put in different tubes.
He waited very patiently for his turn to drive the firetruck.
Uncle Cris and Calvin worked the assembly line together.
This next one may have been his favorite.
Lastly was a remote controlled helicopter dance display thing.
I didn't really get it but Calvin was memorized.
After that came a quick trip to a park
and then he got to check out Petco Park.
These were the pictures before his meltdown that he couldn't play baseball on the field.
Another great day!
