Itty Bitty Baby

Calvin and I went over to Baby Isla's house to finally get to meet her.
Hi everybody! I'm Isla!

This is not her mommy holding her. This is Anne.

This is Anne's daughter Kaitlyn and her unique method of mobility.
She pulls herself forward with her arms.

I think she is going to be a swimmer.
Calvin had to check out this Baby Isla he's heard so much about and seen so many pictures of.
 Calvin liked Kaitlyn's hair.
Kaitlyn wasn't so sure about her mommy holding Baby Isla.
Giving Anne an idea of what having 2 kiddos might be like.
So where was Isla's mommy? Entertaining Calvin, of course.
She did that as I got my turn holding the little one. She says,"Hmmm. What is this thing?"
"I think it might be my hand."
 "It IS my hand!Yay!"
Isla is growing fast and packing on the pounds. Quite the impressive preemie!

Trick or Treat

So I am jumping over a lot of photos I have waiting to be posting and going straight to today. Today we had trick or treating in our neighborhood. Calvin got all dressed up in his monkey suit. Literally.
This is Calvin doing his monkey impression.
He was SO excited to walk down the street with his good friend Naomi.
And to get to walk up to every house on the block.
He borrowed Chip's monkey leash to go with the costume.

He liked to walk with one piece of candy in each hand.
You can see the little monkey peeking over his shoulder.
Walking up with the big kids.
Opps! He kept dropping his precious pieces of candy.
He didn't really know what he was carrying.
 Til he tasted some chocolate.
Then he got a little hyper!
 And wanted some more!
I have to wonder what was going through his little mind on this fun day!

On The Fence

After a couple of tries, Calvin figured this out earlier this fall...
I like that Millie is looking at me like, "Mooooom, do you see him?!"
 There ya go!
The world looks different when your not behind bars.

He can smell freedom.

Fall Fun

Calvin and Chip hung out at a local sculpture park. The kids can play on all the artwork on the grounds.
This is a great swing "sculpture" with bungee cords for ropes.
Chip wore his own Ocean City sweatshirt his mom found at a garage sale.
It was a beautiful fall day.
We tried to pose the boys with the pretty trees in the background. But something had their attention...
 Snacks. Of course.
I think they were trying to see who could shove more food in their mouth.
We saw this beautiful tree and wanted to boys to pose by it.
 Or just run around it.
 And run under it.
 There you go Calvin.
  Thanks for pausing briefly.
So we tried picking them up to hold them still for pictures.
 The colors were gorgeous.
 More snacks.
 More running.
They found this sculpture to play with.
 Great for peekaboo.
 So much fun!
Gotta go back on the few nice days we have left!
