Happy Halloween!

Calvin's first Halloween has been filled with fall fun.

First he had a Halloween party at Mommy and Me.

 

Then he took a silly break in the pumpkin patch

 

Then we went to the chilly Pumpkin Fest that is a few blocks from home.

Next, Super Calvin had to dress up for the trick-or-treaters.

 He wanted everyone to have a "super" Halloween!

Here he is trying to fly off the couch.

Bedhead

So I swear I put Calvin down for a nap with nice combed hair 

but this is what I found when he woke.

 I actually had to re-wet it to get it to go down.

Schnauzer Support

Millie had to have a few teeth pulled and has been feeling little down in the dumps so Calvin is wearing his schnauzer shirt to show his support.

Hopefully Millie will be back to her old self soon (minus a few teeth).

Sitting

Calvin is beginning to be able to briefly sit independently

He's able to sit just long enough to snap a picture and then catch him as he topples over, but it's a start.

5 Months!

Calvin is 5 months old today!

 He is so old that he can sit on the couch (very briefly).

 He can press the buttons on his toys to make them make noise (unfortunately this toy does NOT have an off switch).

 He's so old that he has a bald spot (it's awful, I know).

 Because it was his birthday, I let him be hang out on the hardwood like he wanted.

 All this blanket and he wants the hardwood (it's easier to slide around and try to get Millie's toys).

 He's so happy his daddy was able to make it home in time for his birthday

 he can barely contain his excitement!

Keeping warm

We bundled up to go on brisk fall walk the other evening...

Thanks to Auntie Erin for the pumpkin outfit! It kept Calvin nice and warm!

Co-Sleeping

Dancing Machine

The other day Calvin was inspired by his hip outfit to do some break dancing 

(or at least it sure looked like it in the pictures)

 Ta da!

 He even did some push ups!

Family Resemblance

Calvin and his cousin Orson may not look alike but they do have some similarities...

 Not every family has two Batmen.

 And can two cousins get any cooler then this? Every baby needs an Adidas tracksuit.

Tongue Twister

Clearly Calvin has discovered a new body part...his tongue.

He has figured out many different ways to show off his new ability.

Calvin had his first introduction to solid foods last night.

 "Feed me!"

All clean and ready before the meal. 

"What is this stuff?"

 "Let me do it!"

 "Do you guys eat this?"

 "No! Don't take it away!"

 "I think I like it."

"I ate the whole thing! Well, the food that made it into my mouth."
