We left for our annual trip to Philadelphia last Thursday.
I don't think I have much room to download pictures so here are a few highlights so far.
Calvin totally remembered the rest stops from his last trip and knew it was his job to burn energy.
Saturday we saw the ocean for the first time on the trip when we met Aunt Sandy and Uncle Denny for breakfast.
Here Calvin is walking in the sand for the first time on the trip.
It was so nice to see Aunt Sandy and Uncle Denny and their neat old beach house!
At their house, Calvin learned you can hear the ocean in a sea shell (and now will pick up any shell and have a conversation with the ocean).
Saturday afternoon we had our first beautiful beach day.
This is Calvin being a big boy and not crying after falling face first in to the ocean for the first time. So proud!
Sunday was not so sunny but that didn't stop us from having fun on the beach.
Calvin got to go in the lifeguard stand after they went home for the day.
It was quite fun up there (he is pantless because he got his shorts wet jumping in the water and wanted them off).
He got to play with his new bubble maker.
And, of course, there have been tons to rocks to play with!
So far, soooo fun!
