You may not have known that there are MANY things at a rest stop that are fun.
These ancient things with buttons and a cord.
A straw and milk.
Putting dimes in machines
and having them come out the bottom (because the machine is for quarters).
Moving things around (don't worry- we put it back).
Watching the trucks go by.
And what's a little Starbucks for a 2 year old?
Just kidding. He wanted a new, more interesting milk cup.
Need a little cash?
The only thing we really gave in to was paying for some basketball at our last rest stop on the way home.
He was so excited but not very good.
In conclusion, rest stops are really not so much for resting. At all.
