Germanfest!

A few weekends ago, we met some friends at Germanfest.
Calvin, would you like to try some German food?

Yes, please!

 Calvin wasn't quite sure about all the grown men in lederhosen.

 But after some "dancing" to music

 (and by dancing I mean running around like a crazy person)

 and checking out the band

 it was on to trying on some silly hats.

 Getting him to put on the hats was not the hard part.

 It was getting him to stand still long enough for a photo.

 This way Calvin!

 Now the grey version.

 This one was a chicken hat complete with a feather!

 Then Calvin wanted Daddy to try some on.
