Keeping Cool

We've been rather busy since returning from vacation out East. 

A few days after returning, we still had water on the mind so we checked out a local pool on quite a hot day.

 After a few seconds of checking out the water

 Calvin and his friend Liam were off to the races.

 Running.

 

 And running.

 And more running.

 Then on to the water slides.

 You can see a very hesitant Calvin standing on the steps.

 He is thinking about it.

 And thinking twice.

 He eventually went down a few times with mommy standing right next to the slide, therefore unable to take pictures.

 Overall, he enjoyed the pool.

 That evening, we got some ice cream at a new shop near our house with Chip and his daddy.

 Did our best to stay cool on a hot, hot day.
