Another Festival

Milwaukee loves its ethnic festivals.
Last weekend, we took Calvin to Polish Fest.
I couldn't pass up a big pickle and Calvin insists I share with him.
He got to listen to some polka.
And he loved to play on the benches (seriously, there could have been nothing but benches at this festival and he would have been thrilled).
Then came the tasty, tasty food.
There was no need to try to convince Calvin to eat more.
We were all big fans of the yummy Polish food.
 Then came the park.
 And the slides.
Yes, this is as high as it looks.
 He loved it.
So he tried to climb up for more.
He's getting rather confident in climbing up and going down slides.
Then we hung out by the lake.
 After attempting nice pictures
it was back to throwing rocks
because there is still little he finds more fun.

He was mesmerized by the water for a bit.
 Maybe more then a bit.
We maybe had to drag him away from it.
But we took him to see some real Polish singers and dancers.
 They were quite good.
The sign says "cheers" in Polish.
We will definitely try to make it back to this one next year!
