More Trouble

Calvin continues to discover more ways to create trouble.

 He's trying to find some quality reading material.

Some Culture for Calvin

Last Thursday Calvin met some friends at the Milwaukee Art Museum (first Thursday of the month has free entry).

We had to stop for the typical Art Museum photo on the bridge. 

That's us inside the museum.

 We found a great carpeted area that had all sorts of chairs on it where the kids could crawl around.

 Calvin and Benji liked this chair. Benji turned 1 last week. Happy belated B-day, Benji!

 Amelia is learning to ignore the boys' crazy behaviors already (it's a good life skill for her).

Calvin saw Chip eating and had to join in (even though he was on a food-refusal bend at home). Thanks for sharing, Chip!

Our little group brings a little excitement (aka chaos) wherever we go.

 Being held by her mama standing up is Collete, our newest baby to join us. She and Calvin share a birthday!

 This is Amelia. She saw a camera and had to make sure she got her picture taken.

 Calvin had a great time! Can't wait til the next free Thursday!

New Toy

Calvin got a new toy and has been figuring out all the ways to play with it.

  It has a Lego-type table on one side and an activity board on the other.

 He can sit or stand to play (kinda).

 He figured out how to use his belly to help keep himself up.

 This way is fun, too.

C-A-L-V-I-N that spells...

TROUBLE!

Calvin has been discovering all sorts of ways to get into trouble around the house lately. 

 

This is his favorite place to look for trouble.

 The dining room has some opportunities for trouble, too.

 That is Calvin heading for Millie's water dish and/or her toy.

 The kitchen is an obvious place for trouble.

 So he gets put in jail, but now he knows how to get into trouble there.

What a little stinker!

Generations At Play

Last week, we went with some friends to another indoor play area called Generations at Play. They had lots of great toys.

Calvin liked checking out the cute kid in the mirror.

 While it looks like he is crawling, don't get excited. He is still army crawling everywhere.

 But that army crawl sure gets him where he wants to go. 

"Hmmm what's over here?"

 "Do I want to leave the toys?"

 "Mom is watching so there must be something good that I'm not supposed to get into over here."

" Maybe I want to go back."

 There he goes, dragging his wounded body away from all the toys.

 

 He loved this monkey.

 After play, comes sleep.

 Nice little power nap.

Up for more action. Kinda.

 "Chip, you don't want that pacifier, do you?"

Can't wait to go back when Calvin is feeling better (he may have stuck one too many "germ"-y toys in his mouth).

Just for Fun

Last Tuesday, Calvin met up with some friends at an indoor playground called "Just for Fun". It's a great place with lots of things to do for kids of all ages. 

Calvin thought the outside of the train table was interesting until...

 he saw what was on top of the table!

 Then he had to work on some cars

 and check out what was going on in the house.

 Those are Calvin's friends Benji (above) and Nolan and Chip (below) looking in the window.

 You can see some of the other great stuff this place has in the background of this picture (not referring to Chip, but he is pretty great, too).

 This play equipment is made from a material that is much softer than it looks.

 Calvin is learning to climb and pull up on things.

 Don't rock the boat, Calvin!

 I would say this picture is blurry but really does anything stay in focus with this many babies?

 In honor of his cousin Orson, Calvin had to check out the tunnel.

 Calvin was a pretty big fan.

 It was pretty exciting!

 Calvin ended the day with some dress-up. Who doesn't want to be a fireman?
