Christmas season has been a busy one this year.
Calvin and I went to a play where he got to do crafts before...
meeting Santa.
It was a very serious encounter.
It was followed by a funny little play about becoming an elf.
Calvin though it was quite hilarious.
Then the family went to a lights display we go to each year and saw the train display after.
Always a favorite trip.
A new, very very very cold Christmas activity we tried this year was going downtown and watching the Christmas train stop by.
It was late so we were frozen but it was neat.
Calvin and Chip exchanged presents
and got to hang some ornaments on Chip's family's tree.
Another event was the pancake breakfast with Santa.
You can see Santa's reaction to Calvin's request for a baseball ceiling fan.
Calvin was thrilled that Santa said he would have his elves work on the fan.
So far, a fun and busy December.
