The week after school was over, they offered a camp for those kids (or moms) who weren't quite ready for school to be over yet.
Calvin's first week of camp was a pirates and princesses camp. The kids did not have to dress up but Calvin wanted to and got to wear his pirate shirt from Grandma Happy and Pop-Pop.
This is us telling the boys to say "Argh" like a pirate. Calvin took his role as a pirate very serious.
The next day we borrowed a princess dress from our neighbor.
Calvin LOVED wearing the princess dress. He kept asking how much people were going to laugh and say he was silly.
Spencer also enjoyed dressing like a princess so we posed the pretty princesses under a pretty tree.
We had to teach them how to walk up steps with long dresses on so they stopped tripping.
Calvin went straight for the the castle to play with (pretty sure he thought you HAD to dress like a princess to play with the castle stuff).
I let Calvin chose whether he wanted to be a pirate or princess the last day and he picked princess.
Owen's (the boy in the green) mommy made popsicles for the last day.
When we got home, Calvin wanted to put on all the pirate stuff he had made at camp.
He had a great time!
