Being that this past weekend was Memorial Day weekend, there was family already gathered so we had a little celebration for Calvin's birthday.
A few gifts were opened.
Baby Dean had to watch and learn.
Then came some baseball with cousin Mike and Great Uncle David.
After a hit, he has to run the bases (AKA all around the yard).
After a few hits, Calvin wanted to pitch.
He made Mike work for his hits.
After baseball came cake. Baseball cake.
Baseball cake with dinosaur candles, of course.
He blew out the candles
and didn't hesitate to dig in.
He liked the whipped cream frosting.
Baby Dean was interested in what Calvin was eating.
Very interested.
So then Calvin wanted to give him some love.
Then it was back to more gifts.
Then it was time to play with the presents.
It was a very nice birthday. Now we have to get ready for the party with his friends on Wednesday.
