Leaving on a Jet Plane

We all flew to Portland, Oregon, last Saturday to visit Auntie Erin, Uncle Byron and Cousin Orson for a week. 

First we enjoyed a bus ride from the parking lot.

 We tried to get all our loud noises out before the plane ride.

 And HAD to sing "The Wheels on the Bus" several times.

 Then we checked our bags

 And waited in the LONG security line.

 Then we waited for the airplane.

 We waited and watched, watched and waited.

 Then, finally, the exciting first flight began and Calvin got to sit in one of the only empty seats in the plane.

 Maybe we didn't get every last loud noise out on the bus.

 But the flight was so exciting that Calvin crashed as soon as his daddy sat down with him after we got off the plane.

 He slept and slept while he should have been running and stretching his legs.

 He reluctantly woke up.

 But was more then willing to get back on the plane for some more fun.

 Due to a diaper malfunction and a bumpy plane ride leading to an unhappy tummy, Calvin exited the plane minus pants or a shirt. Luckily, his footwear and coat were spared.

 We were greeted by Uncle Byron and Cousin Orson.

 They had a fun airplane for both of the cousins.

 Calvin couldn't take his eyes off Orson and was so excited to get to sit next to him.

It was the beginning of a fun week!
