Winter Fun

Last Sunday we went to a winter festival at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. We got to see some wildlife and participate in some winter activities. 

Calvin saw turtles,

 a wolf,

 a bear,

 and what used to be  fox.

Later he headed outdoors for sledding.

First he had to check out the scene.

 He and Daddy got ready to go.

 First sledding adventure! (It was raining slightly so Calvin kept opening his mouth to catch the rain.)

Calvin's mommy and daddy went snowshoeing while at the nature center. Thank you to Christine and Bjorn for watching Calvin! They introduced him to their friend Anika(we leave for a half hour and he is meeting older women!).

While we were out, a lady asked to take our picture. A few days later I get an email that shows this picture in the newsletter for the nature center. Too funny!
