Down Time

The boys found many ways to fill the down time between adventures. 

 Hugo was very nice and shared some of his favorite toys with Calvin. 

 Hugo loved being silly and falling on the couch. 

 We took a trip to Bob's Redmill. 

 There was lots of baseball. 

 They loved trying to use Uncle Byron's "real wooden bat". 

 There was lots of wrestling. 

 Being silly. 

 And more wrestling. 

 And walks. 

 Hugo did such a great job keeping up with everyone. 

 Lots of sliding. 

 And jumping. 

Endless fun!

Cousin Dean

Cousin Dean and his mommy and daddy happened to be in the Portland area the same week we were out there so they came by to visit.

 The boys were so excited to have another playmate. 

 It was a pretty wild group. 

 Orson's super hero alter ego, Hunter, came out to join us for a bit. 

 Dean liked to sit in the toy box. 

 Here Dean is showing Calvin where the owls are outside. 

 The next day, we met up with Dean and his Daddy at the Portland Children's Museum. 

 Keeping track of 4 boys was not easy, even with 5 adults. 

 Once in a while they would all want to play in the same area. 

 But then they would see something else. 

 Here are Calvin and Dean banging on the plexiglass with metal pots for a good 10 minutes. 

 The play food areas are always very popular. 

 Eat up!

 The theater area is a favorite of Orson's. 

 Calvin enjoyed the make-up area (or make a mess on your face area). 

 So handsome. 

 There was a building area, too. 

 Finally it was on to the circus area. 

 So many things to try there. 

 Did you know Calvin can fly? 

 The very last stop was the tree house. 

So much fun!
