Housework

So I am going way back to before Easter to start showing you all the work we have been doing in the back yard. 

We will start with the trees. 

 Bye-bye pine trees.

 Plenty of action for Calvin and Millie to watch.

 They took down my neighbors huge pine tree, too.

Getting the yard ready for the new fence to keep the two escape artists in.

Mom's Day

We were so busy yesterday that we didn't get a chance to post and say "Happy Mother's Day" to all the mommies in our lives. 

 Especially Grandma Happy and Grandma Sarah!

We went to a Brewer's game and Calvin was very good. 

He sat in his daddy's seat while he went to get food. 

 Here it appears he is yelling at the ump for a bad call.

 Gotta have something good to drink at the game. Mmmmm! Water.

We had a good day and hope everyone else did, too!

Noisey Boy

We are back up and running. 

You can all imagine the audio that goes with these pictures. 

Peace and quiet is not something we have here.

Another Zoo Trip

Sorry for the lack of blog entries lately. My computer has come down with a virus. Well, make that 8 viruses and Dr. Todd is attempting to cure it. So tonight I post from the chilly basement computer.

Anyways, a few weeks back we went to the Milwaukee County Zoo with some friends. 

Calvin liked the animals in tanks that he could see close up.

 He was determined to catch the turtles.

 The giraffes were the only large animal that caught his attention.

 This furry animal did, too. Not sure what is was but it was angrily running back and forth.

 Calvin was quite excited. I think he thought it was a dog. I was just glad it was behind glass because it did not look happy.

We had a great time!

Visitors from Philly

Last weekend, we were so happy to receive a visit from our good friends Uncle Ross and Aunt Dierdre.

We put Ross to work right away with helping to put up the fence posts in our new backyard (which will be the topic for another post). 

 After a long days work on Friday, the boys got to relax on Saturday and Calvin was glad to get to hang out with them.

 He liked to watch them cook.

 He was very interested in what they were doing.

  Calvin liked to put on Uncle Ross's hat and run around.

 Whatever they were doing, Calvin wanted to join in. Someday he can be their little prep cook.

 We were so happy to have them visit

 and can't wait to see them again!

Chip Chip Hooray!

Yesterday was Chip's 1 year birthday! We were sad that we had to miss his b-day party because Calvin was still under the weather. His mama let us see his cute birthday outfit, though. 

Can't wait for Calvin to be better so they can hang out again.

11 Months

Somehow we are already to 11 months! Yesterday was Calvin's 11 month birthday but he was a bit under the weather so there were no pictures taken (very rare that we go a day without pictures!). But perked up enough today to go to his first Brewer's game of this season. 

 He spent a lot of time at our feet.

 It's was like we were on the airplane again...

 But with a lot more to look at.

Only one more month left in his first year! Crazy!
