I Love Lucy

After playing with Lucy at the Easter Bunny breakfast, Calvin really wanted her to come over for a play date.
Lucy showed Calvin her gymnastics moves.

Calvin showed her his summersault moves.
 So they both summersaulted.

And then Lucy showed Calvin how to do a bridge.
 He caught on, kinda.
 After a little rest,
 it was time to wrestle.
Lucy has an older brother so she held her own very well.

 After wrestling came fresh air.

Then back inside for more wrestling.

Then back outside for some more fresh air and a wagon ride.

They had to get out to wander through the "forest" (a house with a lot of trees and a path).
Then we took Lucy back home but got to play in her yard for a bit first.
Of course the baseball had to come out.
Then Calvin gave Lucy's little sister a car ride.
The older brother was there to help, too.
A fun time with neighbor friends!

Grandma Happy! Grandma Happy! Grandma Happy!

Grandma Happy was quite the center of attention during their visit.
"Grandma Happy! Grandma Happy! Grandma Happy!" could be heard all day.
Calvin just couldn't get enough of his Grandma Happy
and she was a great sport about it.
Thank you, Grandma Happy! Grandma Happy! Grandma Happy!

Pancake Breakfast with the "Easter Bunny"

Calvin was excited to have a pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny, until he saw this Easter Bunny. Not exactly what he had in mind.
He still ate his pancakes and sausage.
And this year he wanted to get his face painted.
He wanted a baseball mitt catching a ball.
The painter did a good job!
Despite it's appearance, Calvin did still want a photo with the Easter Bunny.
Here he is like, "Not too close, buddy."
Calvin looks cute, regardless of what the bunny looks like.
Then the kids ran around the church, all jacked up on maple syrup.
Calvin found our neighbor Lucy and had fun racing with her.

Burn off that sugar before we go home!

Visitors

Grandma Happy and Pop-Pop came to visit us!
And they very generously agreed to take Calvin up to the Children's museum in Sheboygan.

They sent me photos of all the fun stuff they got to do there.

Looks like a really fun place that I will have to go back to with him some time!
