Easter Decorations

As soon as St. Patrick's Day was over, Calvin was ready for Easter decorations to come out. 

 He loved decorating his Christmas tree so much that we got him an Easter tree. 

 He took the decorating very seriously but still had to add an element of danger by trying to balance on the arm of the chair to do it. 

I think he got it just perfect. For today. 

Little Lephrechaun

Calvin enjoyed his St. Patrick's outfit this year. 

Maybe a little too much!

Tae Kwon Do

Nothing says Happy St. Patrick's Day like a Tae Kwon Do class!

 Calvin and a few friends checked out a Tae Kwon Do class on St. Patrick's Day. 

 After stretching, they learned various things

 like kicking

 and ducking.

 A lot of it was simply teaching them to follow instructions

 but they had a good time doing it.

 Little ninjas! Or goofballs. Whichever. 

Melting Time

As you can see, the weather is finally starting to warm up and things are starting to melt. 

 Calvin discovered the joy of smashing ice chunks. 

 He tried many different tools. 

 Baseball bat, 

 hammer,

 screwdriver.

 After that, it was on to the melting snow sports. 

 Tennis, baseball,

 boat racing in puddles, 

 golf.

 Then he thought maybe the front yard would be better for baseball. 

 It was a long winter of only indoor baseball so he was thrilled to be outside again. 

Spring will be here soon, right?

Classroom Helper

I got to help in Calvin's class. As you can see, the snow is starting to melt a little but still need full snowsuit because that means it is wet out there!

 Chip and Calvin were collecting leaves to pour down the slides. 

 Then they discover ice in the boat and worked with Robert to clear it all out and splash in the cold water that was under it. 

 Back inside, they were all business.  The grocery business!

Always fun to be in class!

Beach Night with Mom

Calvin's school had a Beach Party with Mom night. 

Here is teacher is singing an octopus song. 

 There was lots of dancing

 and music making

 and toe tapping. 

 And food. 

 Calvin wasn't feeling great at the start of the night

 But was feeling great and up for dressing up by the end. 

 He wasn't the only one. 

 Calvin loved everyone laughing at how silly he looked. 

A fun night together!
