Winter-wear

Calvin has been enjoying the new set of clothes that go along with this winter season. The other day he didn't want to take his snowpants off when he got in the house.
He found his bike helmet and wanted to wear it, too.
He looked like he was going to do some serious downhill skiing.
He finally got too hot in the pants and go bored with the helmet.
And then a few days later, I heard "Thud!Thud!Thud!" coming from the other room.
I found Calvin walking through the house in my winter boots.
They didn't really slow him down much. He could still get into trouble with big, clunky boots on.
It's going to be a fun winter!

Reunited

When we got back home, we met up with Calvin's friends to play in the snow at the nature center.
We got them all bundled up.
And they wobbled out into the snow.
Calvin was excited to see his friends again.
And they were all excited to play in the snow.
This little house was the source of much excitement.
 Yeah!
In and out!
Up and down!
 Back and forth!
 Amelia says, "Silly boys."
 Yeah snow!
There were 2 great slides for them to play on, too.
The terrain was a little treacherous (for the moms).
 They couldn't get enough!
 Again! Again!
It was quite a work out for everyone involved.
So we did some relaxing afterward with some games
 and rocking chairs.
 It was a great reunion!

More New Years Eve

I was able to get the photos off my camera, so I have more of party animal Calvin from the wedding.
Here he is all dolled up.
 He was shy at first.
Family picture before the madness started.
 A pep-talk from Pop-Pop.
Calvin and the ring-bearer got the dancing started before dance floor opened.
I think he must be wiggling his butt in this picture.
 Get down!
 Who me?
 Oh yeah!
Then the real dance floor opened up.
The kids drew quite a crowd.
 Boogie down!
 Dancing with Grandma!
 A little floor work.
Here he is grabbing this nice woman's leg. It happened all night to many strangers. He is quite forward.
Checking out the bride and disappointed he couldn't see (or feel) her legs.
 More floor work.
Picking out accessories for the New Year's celebration.
This one?
Maybe a necklace?
He had to wear this one so he could read it himself.
Calvin requested a hat when he saw the other guys wearing hats.
 Mr. Cool.
Refused to look at the camera.
Skipping away to go dance with...
the big boys (who mommy had to make sure didn't step on Calvin).
Upon finally getting tired and wanting to leave, he got to give the bride a good-bye hug.
He couldn't take his eyes off her.
It was a great (and exhausting) time!
