More Christmas

More Christmas celebrations occurred when we got to Philadelphia.

After a quick trip to Sue's house for Christmas breakfast, 

we returned for more present opening. 

Yippee!

 So happy!

 For Christmas dinner, we headed to Aunt Karen's house. Calvin was so happy to play with "John T" (the combination name he gave for John and JT) again.

 They were such good sports

 playing all sorts of games with Calvin.

 It's not an optical illusion that these boys seem tall.

 They are small giants

 and great playmates!

 A game of catch was soooooooooo much fun!

 Ooooo you dropped it!

 I got it!

 Time for good-byes.

Christmas Began Early

We celebrated our first round of Christmas in Chicago before we drove to Pennsylvania. 

The cousin got more quality time together. 

 They did not stand still very long.

 He got some cuddle time with Grandma

 and Grandpa.

 Awwwwwww!

 He would not put down the screwdriver.

Now pose with Aunt Marty.

 Now with Grandma and Grandpa.

 Getting  2 wiggly boys to pose nice twice in one night is a challenge.

 Grandpa got a toupee.

 Calvin had to help open any present that was near him.

 The next day was the Traut family Christmas party. Calvin started off very shy.

 But found a furry motivation to get down from his parents' arms.

 Then he found the basement and the rest of the evening was quite busy.

 He got to see some family he hasn't seen since this summer.

 And he got to play more games.

Next...on to PA!

The "Fix It" Cousins

At Grandma and Grandpa McConnell's house, a toy needed new batteries. 

Calvin figured he could do it.

 And Orson figured he could help out.

 No batteries were changed.

But 2 boys were occupied for a bit,

so we'll take that as a success.

A New Year

Calvin wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Calvin had a great New Years. I don't have access to all the photos but here are a few.

After reluctantly waking up from a late nap,

 I got Calvin all dressed up.

 Calvin attended a pre-party before the wedding,

 Then it was time for fun.

 He had a great time with all the other kids at the wedding.

 Calvin was quite the party animal.

 And did not want the fun to end.

There was A LOT more we did while we were gone for the past 2 weeks. Slowly I will get to the rest of the trip.

Fun With Orson

Calvin got to spend some quality time with his cousin Orson the day of Grandpa David's birthday.

They got to read books,

 watch the traffic go by,

 play in the basement,

 bumper cars,

 puppet shows,

 the newly discovered and loved wrestling time with Grandma Sarah,

 wrestling time with eachother,

 waiting for Grandpa,

 big ball fun,

 help Grandpa unwrap his present,

 help blow out the candles,

 and bath time fun!

So much fun in just one day!!!!!
