Visitors

We were very excited to have our good friends Auntie Laura and Uncle Mike visit us!

Calvin was fascinated by Laura.

 He thought she was so much fun!

 Maybe he could sense his future friend growing in her belly.

 Maybe it was the awesome water bottles she was drinking out of all weekend.

 They are one of his favorite toys to chew on (but he had to fight Millie for them, who also wanted to chew them).

 Uncle Mike was pretty cool, too.

Can't wait to see them again and meet that little peanut coming in July!

Locked Up

As Calvin has become more mobile, we have had to enter lock-down mode.  

Not sure if you can see the teeth marks on the edge of this gate.

 At the other end of the kitchen, Calvin gets a visit from Millie.

Calvin has been practicing pushing the chairs around.

 Why is he so motivated to push the chair around?

 What are you doing with that chair?

 I think someone is planning a jail break!

Leap Party

Chip's mom had a party on leap day to celebrate this rare special day. I forgot my camera so she was nice enough to take some pictures for us.

  Like Calvin, Chip also likes banging on the windows.

Chip's mom had a beautiful spread of food for us. Quite the hostess!

Their house also comes with medical care (Calvin had sliced his finger the day before and Chip's dad is an doctor so he was "gluing" his finger back together).

Even when caged, the kids have a great time!

I don't know what we would do if we didn't have these low windows!

On The Move

A few weeks ago we were at Chip's house and his momma let Calvin try walking with Chip's shopping cart. 

He loved it and within a few days, this is what we got:

Calvin wanted to say Happy Birthday to his favorite 3 year old!

Snow Days

It snowed last week so we finally got to take Calvin out in his sled. 

Had to get bundled up.

 Get strapped in.

 And go for a ride.

 Circles around in the back yard!

 We even made him a little hill.

 Up and down he goes!

 He had a little topple over and got to see the snow up close.

 Then we ventured out front for some city sledding.

 It was a pretty rough ride.

  The sledding acted like a stroller ride and put the silly boy to sleep.

It's snowing again tonight so maybe we'll get out again.
