A Real Super Kid

Calvin got a new shirt and had fun with it.
"Super Hero in training"
He got to practice flying super-hero style.

And making a super big mess.
And building super big towers.
 And being super silly.

And practicing his super fast running for take-offs.
And making super big leaps onto the couch.
Super heroes can pick up vehicles with one hand.

 And tame wild beasts,
 real and otherwise.

And are super helpful around the house (he is recycling here).
 And can climb super high.
All this practice as a super hero made him feel brave enough to face his (and Millie's) worst enemy,
the scary MAIL coming through the mail slot!
Now we are all a little bit safer here in Whitefish Bay.

Pearly Whites

Calvin wanted to show everyone what a big boy he is becoming in that he can "brush" his own teeth.
He is pretty much just biting the toothpaste off of the brush but he does drag it back and forth a little.
Mommy is on molar duty because he has not quite figured that part out yet.
We're working on keeping them clean and white. Now we need genetics to be nice to us to keep them straight!

Mr. President

Calvin wanted to wish everyone a Happy President's Day by showing off the Abe Lincoln mask he made in art class.
He knew what he was doing was silly but didn't exactly understand why.
 He called himself a snowman,
which makes more sense to me then making Abe Lincoln masks with toddlers.
Hope those of you who had a day off enjoyed it
and the rest of you enjoyed, I don't know, no mail and lots of sales at the stores.

Little Slugger

Calvin requested to wear his daddy's hat while he played baseball in the house the other day.
He insists I use the reverse camera on my iPhone so he can see himself, therefore his vanity leads to lower picture quality.
He also requested to wear one of Christmas shirts. He is getting rather opinionated about things lately.
He looks kinda tough in these pictures because, not surprisingly, he fell and smacked his face and got a black eye.

He had quite the little game of baseball going, tossing himself the ball.
He wanted to make sure his daddy saw him in his hat.
And see if there were any better options in the basket of balls.
 Nothing grabbed his interest.
So he thought he'd grab a seat.

So much fun just because of a hat!

Happy Valentine's Day

Calvin spent Valentine's Day with a few of his buddies at the Mitchell Park Domes.
These little guys love playing together!
\
There is a train exhibit there right now.
If you look closely, you can see a "real" Thomas the train engine. Calvin was quite excited.

There was so much to look at.

And so many places to run around.

He was shockingly good about leaving the plants alone.
There is some hope for my garden next summer!

We had to drag them away from the waterfall.

It was a very nice Valentine's Day with his friends!
