Thankful for Friends

We are thankful we were able to see so many great friends while in Philadelphia.

 Joe, Amy and Kaitlin came by.

 We stopped by the Konar's for a visit.

 And the Konar's (Jr) had everyone over to their house.

 Joe and Amy had us over, too.

 Such good friends for Calvin (and his parents) to spend time with.

Thankful for Family

We are so thankful we were able to spend time with family that we are not able to see very often.

And Calvin was happy to be able to meet his Uncle Cris for the first time!

Hooray for family!

A Walk in the Park

While we were visiting Calvin's grandma and grandpa, we took a nice walk in a park. 

 It took a lot out of Calvin.

 And Millie.

On the road again

Calvin traveled out to Philadelphia for his first Thanksgiving.

 Hobbs kept Calvin company on the long ride.

 Calvin had quite a few toys to keep him busy on the drive.

 Of course, his favorite things were a water bottle

 and a paper bag.

 Calvin was very happy to get to Philly and see his grandma.

First Year Half Over

Calvin is 6 months old today!

The big boy sat up in a highchair during lunch and had a good time.

 He wanted to pick out his lunch.

 He made raspberries throughout the whole meal at us

 and at everyone in the restaurant.

 Can't believe his first year is half over. Time flies!

Sleep Over

Thank you so much to the Onkkas for letting us spend the night at their home on our way to Philadelphia. 

 Calvin was so happy to see Great Aunt Martha

And Great Uncle Tim

And FINALLY get to meet his Auntie Kate!

Can't wait to see all of you again at the Traut Family Christmas in December!

Big Boy

In case there was any question as to whether Calvin was growing...

So I bought this outfit before Calvin was born so it was before we knew he was a boy. 

What do we think? Too feminine?

Maybe. 

Too cute? 

Definitely.

Windy City Friends

Calvin enjoyed his first trip to Chicago this weekend. 

There were lots of new toys to play with. 

 And lots of new friends to meet, like Marko.

 Things sure have changed for Mommy's college friends.

 Marko and Calvin were able to play together with the exersaucer.

 

 Of course they both wanted the same toy at the same time.

 

 And Mommy's friend from high school came by with his two kiddos.

 And Calvin sat in a big boy chair to eat his meals.

 And Calvin got to spend time with his Aunt Marty and poor old Lucy.

 He loved to snuggle with them both.

Overall we had a great time in the Windy City!
