Oktoberfest

Glendale, the next town over, has a great Oktoberfest every year. Technically this is the second one Calvin has been to, but the first one outside the womb.

Babysitting

Thank you so much to Auntie Meg for babysitting Thursday night so Calvin's mommy and daddy could go to a concert!

4 Months

Today is Calvin's 4 month birthday!

Lake Walk

Last weekend we went for a nice walk on the path in Lake Geneva. 

 Calvin loves "riding" in the baby carrier facing out towards the world passing by.

 The hat accentuates his cheeks.

Daddy got to try to wear the carrier for the first time.

It was a beautiful day for a walk.

Tummy Time

Now that Calvin is starting to roll over, he is spending more time on his tummy, which opens up a whole new world of cute pictures. 

 "So what do I do now?"

 "Rolling is fun!"

"What's that over there?'"

 "So let me tell you..."

 "Who is that?"

"I see you with that camera!"

Good Times

Last weekend, Grandma and Grandpa McConnell watched Calvin so his mommy and daddy could go to a wedding.(First night out together without the little man!)

 On Sunday, Calvin went to an art show with his mommy and grandma. It was hot, so he took a break in the shade.

Calvin enjoys being helped to sit up and try to grab things.  

 

Sometimes he uses his toes to grab things.

Philly Phanatics

The Phillies were in town to play the Brewer's this week. We all headed to Miller Park in our Phillies gear on Thursday night.

The Phillies won that night. Must have been the great fan support.

Vacation Part 3

We survived the trip home! Only one major meltdown that required getting off the highway at the nearest exit to rescue Calvin from his evil car seat. Just wanted to share some more random pictures from our trip.

Calvin performed his first legitimate roll-over during this trip. This is not him doing it. Sadly, I missed it. This is him trying the next night. Only Pop-Pop saw it. The rest of us were too busy talking. He has done it once since we got home and this time I saw it!
