Fun in the Living Room

Last week we were supposed to go to an indoor play area but the snow kept us at home. So we had to create our own.

Hopefully it won't snow this week and we can go to the actual playground.

8 Months!

Calvin is 8 months old today!

The evening started off kinda rough. Calvin was not happy with getting a month older. 

 His daddy did his best to cheer him up.

 Nothing like a dangerous game of "toss the baby" for smiles.

 Then Calvin wanted to do some grown-up activities. So he started with some push-ups.

 Then had to choose a nice wine. Red?

 White?

 Mmmm red is better.

 Then ended the evening with a good book.

Busy evening for this old man.

One More Visit with Orson

Last weekend, we had one more visit with Auntie Erin and Orson. We celebrated Grandma Sarah's birthday before they headed back to Oregon. 

 The cousin got a little more time together. 

 After a crazy, tasty dinner we had some birthday cake.

 Calvin thinks that cake looks good.

 Orson knows it is good.

 Maybe next year, Calvin.

 Calvin had a great time with Auntie Erin and Orson.

Big Foot

While Orson was out visiting his grandma's preschool, Calvin had some fun wearing Orson's dinosaur slippers. 

It's a Calvisaurus,

 a happy but very rare dinoasur

 that quickly went extinct because

 it couldn't move

due to its fascination with its own disproportionately large feet.
