Keeping Cool

We've been rather busy since returning from vacation out East.
A few days after returning, we still had water on the mind so we checked out a local pool on quite a hot day.
After a few seconds of checking out the water
Calvin and his friend Liam were off to the races.
 Running.

 And running.

 And more running.
Then on to the water slides.
You can see a very hesitant Calvin standing on the steps.
 He is thinking about it.
 And thinking twice.
He eventually went down a few times with mommy standing right next to the slide, therefore unable to take pictures.
 Overall, he enjoyed the pool.
That evening, we got some ice cream at a new shop near our house with Chip and his daddy.
Did our best to stay cool on a hot, hot day.

Fun with Noah

Noah and Calvin took a little wagon ride and
checked out a local park together.

There were lots of fun things to climb and ride on.

They also checked out the boardwalk together.

 There was bowling.

 And skeeball.

 Lots of walking.
 And lots to look at
 and to do.

Very fun!

Noah and the Cal

Calvin got to meet his second cousin, Noah, while in Ocean City. He came out with his grandma and grandpa from Fort Wayne, IN.
They immediately had to show off their talents. Somersaults.
Monkey see, monkey do.
Then they played "hit the pillow being thrown at me".

Then we ventured outside for fun with bubbles.

They did a pretty good job sharing.
 Then came fun with chalk.
Anything to keep the boys busy.
Always fun to meet more family!

Running and Jumping

There wasn't much standing still at the beach.

Why walk when you can run?

Why run when you can jump?
Can you tell he had a good time?

Sunset Beach Walk

We bravely took Calvin out to dinner one night while we were out East.
 After a yummy dinner
Pop-Pop wanted to show Calvin the ocean was there, too.
Calvin was more then willing to go see.
He was excited to see Mr. Moon was there.
So excited that he didn't want to turn around and come back.

It was a pretty sunset to see.
Grandma Happy joined us for our quick walk in the sand.
We had to race to convince him to head back to the car.

Even with racing, he thought not leaving sounded like a better option.
Can you blame him with a view like this?
 A beautiful night.
